Miriam Weiner receives Lifetime Achievement Award |

The International Association of Jewish Genealogical Societies (IAJGS) presented its 2003 Lifetime Achievement Award winner to Miriam Weiner on July 24th in Washington, D.C., during the 23rd IAJGS International Conference on Jewish Genealogy. The presentation occurred during the closing banquet, held at the JW Marriott Hotel in Washington, D.C. where more than 1,200 people from 18 countries attended the conference.

Lifetime Achievement Award
Presented to
Miriam Weiner
Miriam has devoted her life and significant talent
to identifying and researching resources for Jewish
genealogical research. Miriams negotiations and
collaboration with archivists has yielded a trove of data
about the location of, and access to, important records.
She has selflessly shared her knowledge through
lectures, articles, books, interviews and the
Routes to Roots Foundation website, motivating
countless people to research their Jewish ancestry.
