A series of color images and brief essays in Ukrainian describing the history of the city of Fastiv southwest of Kyiv in central Ukraine. This "biography" of Fastiv includes an outline history of the city from the 14th century, plus feature essays and images of two museums, two churches, and a 120-year-old brewery. Also given here is a detailed list of cultural features and civic services of the city keyed to grid locations on the detailed street map of the city on the front side of this brochure, by Kartografiia of Kyiv, plus a small map of tourist sites in the area around Fastiv. The history section omits mention of the massacre of Fastov Jews in 1919, an event that still lives in the memory of descendants.
