A series of color images and an essay in Ukrainian and Polish languages with a brief summary in English describing the history and cultural features of the city of Zolochiv (זלאָטשאָוו) east of Lviv in western Ukraine. Much of the historical section covers the huge 17th-century castle in the city, but a timeline outlines the broader city history from the 15th century. Additional essays cover the 19th-century religious and literary figure Markiian Shashkevych who was born nearby, and cultural features of the Zolochiv region in the settlements of Sasiv, Pomoriany, and Havarechchyna. The front side of this map, by Kartografiia of Kyiv, includes a detailed street map of Zolochiv and a useful road map of the former Zolochiv district.
