A series of color images and brief essays in Ukrainian describing the environment and history of the city of Vasylkiv on the Stuhna River southwest of Kyiv in central Ukraine. The historical section spans from the end of the first millennium. The Jewish community is mentioned in the context of late 19th-century architectural heritage, for the neo-Moorish former synagogue building which survives in the city center; a photograph of the elabortate building is also included. Additional essays describe local features of Christian spiritual heritage, Vasylkiv's local history museum, and the aviation museum.
