Gusyatin (Husiatyn) History and Cultural Sites 2009

A series of color images and an extended essay in the Ukrainian language describing the history and cultural features of the town of Husiatyn (הוסיאַטין) east of Chortkiv on the Zbruch River in western Ukraine. Included is a brief summary of the Husiatyn Hasidic dynasty and the Friedman family of rabbis, along with a photo of the Great Synagogue. The front side of this map, by Kartografiia of Kyiv, includes a detailed street map of Husiatyn and a useful road map of the former Husiatyn district.
