Zaporozhye (Zaporizhzhia) Tourist Map 2023 (Reverse)

The reverse side of a detailed street map of Zaporizhzhia (Aleksandrovsk, Oleksandrivsk) on the Dnieper (Dnipro) River in southeastern Ukraine, by Kartografiia of Kyiv. Included here in Ukrainian are a chronological synopsis of the city's history in Ukrainian, a list of nearly 1000 streets indexed to the grid on the map, a road map of the region around the city, and an extensive list of museums, monuments, memorials, and other cultural sites around Zaporizhzhia. The historical section mentions that in the 1926 census, the Jewish community made up 20% of the city, more than 10 thousand people. Among the sacred buildings in this list and marked with Stars of David on the map are both the historic Turgenev Street synagogue and the modern Hiimat Rosa synagoue.
