The reverse side of a road map of the Zaporizhzhia region (oblast) on the Sea of Azov in southeastern Ukraine, published by Kartografiia of Kyiv, which continues to this side. Major and minor roads plus the key rail lines and waterways connecting cities in the region and beyond are indicated. A table of driving distances between the oblast's major cities appears on the front side, along with a map legend in Ukrainian and English, identifying with symbols, colors, and line types a large number of map features, including settlements in three ranked sizes; borders, road types and transit points; tourist information and service points; and points of nature interest. This side includes an index to more than 800 settlements with a key to their locations within the grid on this map, plus simplified street maps of the administrative center city of Zaporizhzhia plus the important cities of Melitopol and Berdiansk. On the Melitopol map, the Jewish cemetery is indicated with crosses and a memorial marker.
