Volynsk (Volyn) Oblast Road Map 2021 (Reverse)

The reverse side of a road map of the Volyn region (oblast) bordering the Lviv oblast in northwest Ukraine, published by Kartografiia of Kyiv, which continues with the southern part on this side. The oblast is part of the historical region of Volhynia, together with the Rivne oblast and parts of other nearby oblasts. Major and minor roads plus the key rail lines and waterways connecting cities in the region and beyond are indicated. Also included here are an index to more than 1000 settlements with a key to their locations within the grid on this map, plus a simplified street map of the administrative center city of Lutsk and the next-largest city of Kovel. The front side of the map, which shows the northern and central parts of the oblast bordering Belarus and Poland, also includes a table of driving distances between the oblast's major cities, as well as a map legend in Ukrainian and English identifying with symbols, colors, and line types a large number of map features, including settlements in three ranked sizes; borders, road types and transit points; tourist information and service points; and points of nature interest.
