A large and detailed multi-color road map in Ukrainian of the Poltava region (oblast) east of Kyiv in central Ukraine, published by Kartografiia of Kyiv. Major and minor roads plus the key rail lines and waterways connecting cities in the region and beyond are indicated. A map legend in Ukrainian and English identifies with symbols, colors, and line types a large number of map features, including settlements in three ranked sizes; borders, road types and transit points; tourist information and service points; and points of nature interest. The map spans to the second side of the brochure, which also includes simplified street maps of the administrative center city of Poltava and the three next-largest cities of Kremenchuk, Lubny, and Myrhorod, plus an index to nearly 2000 settlements with a key to their locations within the grid on this map, and a table of driving distances between the oblast's major cities.
