A series of color images and a lengthy essay in the Ukrainian language describing the multicultural history of the city of Rohatyn (ראָגאַטין ,ר'טין) between Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk in western Ukraine. Paired with this history are a dozen descriptive paragraphs covering a range of interesting facts of local history. Among those, at number 9, is the 1910 birth in Rohatyn of Norbert Glanzberg, a Jewish composer of film music and songs, who also served as a pianist and songwriter for Edith Piaf. The front side of this map, by the Opillya Local History Museum of Rohatyn, includes a street map of Rohatyn highlighted with symbols marking key historical and cultural points in the city.
