A brief history in Russian of the small town of Mir (מיר in Yiddish) southwest of the capital of Minsk in central Belarus, published in 2014. The text details major historical events and developments in Mir from the 14th century to the post-Soviet era. From the collection of more than 25 cultural monuments numbered and labeled on the street map on the front of this brochure, 10 sites are highlighted here with photographs and descriptive text of the monuments. Among the featured sites are the building of the former Main Synagogue (also called the Cold Synagogue), and the building of the former Kahal.
