A detailed multi-color street map in Russian of the small town of Mir (מיר in Yiddish) southwest of the capital of Minsk in central Belarus, published in 2014. The map labels major and minor streets throughout Mir, and an index on the same page lists 38 streets and squares keyed to the map grid. Unusual for a map of this type, it outlines individual buildings with street addresses. A map legend identifies a variety of map features with symbols, including transport and tourism support services. Highlighted on the map with numbers and graphical representations are more than 25 cultural monuments, each labeled at the bottom of the map, including the Dvor Synagogue (11); the former Yeshiva building (12); the former Kahal building (13); the 16th-century Jewish cemetery (16); and the 19th-century Main Synagogue (21). Some of these sites are described and illustrated in further detail on the reverse side of the map; which also gives a history of Mir since the 14th century.
