A large and detailed multi-color street map in Russian of the city of Slonim (סלאָנים in Yiddish) in western Belarus, published in 2014. The map labels major and minor streets throughout greater Slonim, and an index on the same page lists nearly 250 streets and squares keyed to the map grid. Text inset on the map summarizes the city's 1000-year history. An extensive map legend identifies with symbols, colors, and line types a large number of map features, including road types and transit points; travel, tourism and entertainment facilities; sporting sites, natural parks, and gardens; hospitals, and pharmacies; cemeteries; and historical and cultural monuments. Photographs show a pair of memorial and architectural monuments of the city. On the map, the former Slonim Great Synagogue is marked with a symbol indicating its status as an architectural monument, though it remains unrestored; the Jewish cemeteries are not shown.
