A multi-color street map of the city of Kaunas (known as Kovne in Yiddish) in southern Lithuania, produced by the Latvian cartography company Jāņa sēta in 2016. The map highlights and labels the major streets, and marks a number of tourist sites; a Star of David near the center of this map locates the still-operating Choral Ohel Yaakov Synagogue. Not marked on the map are the site of the influential Yeshivas Knesses Yisrael in the Vilijampolė (Slabodka) neighborhood, or the WWII Jewish ghetto which was established in the same location, or the south-central house museum of Chiune Sugihara, the Japanese vice-consul who issued thousands of transit visas to trapped Jews in 1940.
