A detailed street map of the city of Vitebsk in northeastern Belarus, with a list of streets indexed to a grid and a symbol key defining many types of buildings and sites. A brief text in Russian describing the city and its history is also included. Of the several Jewish cemeteries which once dotted the city, only the surviving cemetery north of the city center is marked on the map, with crosses. The working Ohel David synagogue is not marked, but Marc Chagall's childhood home is marked as a museum. The reverse side of this map, by Belkartografiya of Minsk, shows the Vitebsk district.
