Photocopy of a town plan of Chernivtsi with individually marked and illustrated land parcels, from about 1860. This original edition, published by the Viennese cartographers and printers Artaria as part of an atlas, precedes an update made in 1880. The map legend identifies buildings made of different materials, plus land used for gardens, grazing, and vineyards. Numbered objects include civil, military, and religious community structures, including schools and a synagogue. Annotations are in German language.
