Photocopy of a postwar memory map of interwar Uhniv, Lviv Oblast, Ukraine and surrounding region, from the recollections of Teodor Reshetylo. Drawn at an exaggerated scale to allow detail of the city features, the map locates and numbers 25 features of significance, listed in an adjacent legend, including key buildings such as churches and synagogues, banks, schools, etc., as well as Christian and Jewish cemeteries. Beyond the city, memorable forests, hayfields, and the roads to adjacent villages and larger towns. Jewish houses of the period are marked, showing the density of the prewar Jewish community in the small city.
